Junk Removal in Huntsville, AL

Junk removal, house and estate cleanouts, debris hauling and dumpster rental for Madison County and North Alabama.

What we haul away

Huntsville Junk Pros is the local number for junk removal and hauling across Madison County. We take the couch, the fridge, the garage full of boxes, the leftover drywall from the remodel, the hot tub nobody uses and the shed that is falling down, load it, sweep up and leave. You point, we lift.

Furniture and Appliance Removal

The old sectional that will not fit down the stairs, the mattress from the guest room, the fridge in the garage that stopped cooling: this is the everyday work in Huntsville. We come with two people and a truck, carry it out from wherever it is, and haul it the same day where the schedule allows.

House, Estate and Hoarding Cleanouts

Clearing a parent's house, a rental after a tenant left, or a home that filled up over the years is a different job from hauling a couch. It takes a plan, respect for what is inside, and a crew that shows up until it is done. Alongside you or your agent we split everything into five piles: keep, family, donate, sell and dispose. Then we carry everything out and leave the house broom-clean for the sale or the next tenant.

Garage, Basement and Storage Unit Cleanouts

A garage cleanout is the most common job we do in Huntsville's new subdivisions: the boxes from the move never got unpacked, the kids' furniture is stacked against the wall, and the car sits outside. We sort with you for twenty minutes, then load the rest. Most garages take a morning.

Construction and Renovation Debris Removal

Remodels leave a pile: the old kitchen cabinets, the tile that came up, the deck boards, the fence panels, the roofing. Contractors and homeowners call us to haul it so the crew can keep working and the driveway stays usable. We take the load in one trip or set a dumpster for the length of the job.

Storm and Yard Debris Cleanup

The Tennessee Valley gets its share of straight-line wind, hail and tornado warnings from March to May and again in the fall. The morning after, the yard has limbs, a fence on the ground, shingles and pieces of a neighbor's shed in it. We haul it. We also take the ordinary yard debris that piles up: brush from clearing a lot line, old landscaping timbers, dead shrubs.

Most jobs are quoted from a photo the same day and done within 24 to 48 hours; a single item or a quick pickup is often possible the day you call. For bigger projects, renovations and cleanouts that take a week, we deliver a roll-off dumpster instead and pick it up when you are done.

We are a local crew, not a national call center. The truck is based in Madison County, the people on it know the difference between Five Points and Hampton Cove, and the price you are quoted is the price you pay.

Junk removal built for how the Rocket City lives

Huntsville is the fastest-growing city in Alabama and now its largest, and growth makes junk: moves in and out around Redstone Arsenal and Cummings Research Park, renovations of the 1950s and 1960s ranch houses in Blossomwood, Jones Valley and the Medical District, new subdivisions in Harvest, Meridianville and Hazel Green that come with a garage full of boxes, and estates in Monte Sano and Five Points that need clearing after a lifetime in one house.

The city collects garbage weekly and takes furniture, appliances and limbs cut to five feet at the curb on your route day, and its collection page (linked under Local resources) says what the trucks will and will not take. We handle everything that falls outside that: construction debris, which the city never collects, whole-house cleanouts, anything heavy, anything that has to go today, and anything from outside the city limits on a county route.

Storms are part of life in the Tennessee Valley. After a spring squall line or a tornado warning night, we haul limbs, fence panels, roofing and whatever the wind put in the yard, and we coordinate with the city's debris passes so you are not paying us for what the city will collect for free.

Searching 'junk removal near me' from any of these places reaches the same crew and the same price list: Huntsville, Madison, Five Points, Jones Valley, Hampton Cove and the towns on the area pages below.

Why call Huntsville Junk Pros

  • One crew, not a call center. The number on this page rings a crew based in Madison County, and the person who quotes the job is the person who shows up.
  • The photo is the quote. Send a picture of the pile and get a firm number back; that number is what goes on the card receipt.
  • Same-day when the route allows. Single items and small loads are often picked up the day you call, in the city and the towns around it.
  • We say what the city takes for free. If part of your pile qualifies for curbside collection on your route day, the quote says so instead of charging you for it.
  • Accountable. One crew per area, dropped if it is late or leaves a mess. If a job is not right, call the same number and say so.

Junk removal questions from Huntsville, answered

How is a junk removal job priced?

By how much of the truck your load fills, with the labor, hauling and disposal fees included in the quote. A single item is the cheapest job; a full truck is the most expensive. Send a photo and you get a firm number back, or we quote on the spot before we touch anything. Dumpster rentals are priced per size and rental period, with the tonnage allowance in the quote.

Can you come the same day?

Often, for single items and small pickups inside the city and in Madison. Larger cleanouts are usually scheduled within one to two days. Say what you have and when you need it gone when you call.

What will you not take?

Hazardous waste: paint, chemicals, fuel, asbestos, medical waste. The Solid Waste Disposal Authority runs a weekday drop-off for paint, chemicals, batteries and electronics (see Local resources). Nearly everything else, from furniture and appliances to concrete and a whole shed, is fine.

Do I need to be home for the pickup?

No. Many customers leave items in the garage or driveway and pay by card after a photo of the cleared space. For estate cleanouts we can meet a family member or an agent with the key.

Do you recycle or donate?

Usable furniture and working appliances go to donation partners where they accept them; metal and cardboard are recycled; the rest goes to the disposal facility. Ask and we will tell you where a specific load went.

Junk removal or a dumpster: which one do I need?

If it can be gone in one visit, junk removal is cheaper and you do nothing. If the mess grows over a week, a renovation or a slow cleanout, a dumpster on the driveway is the better deal. We do both, so ask and we will say which one fits.
